What channel is Nevada vs. Arizona State on today? Time, TV schedule for 2023 NCAA First Four game

By | March 15, 2023

And then there was one. The final game of the First Four action is set to tip off on Wednesday night with a matchup between the Nevada Wolf Pack and Arizona State Sun Devils. Following the conclusion of Wednesday night’s action, the 64-team March Madness bracket will be set.

Both 11-seeded teams in the West Region are playing for the right to face No. 6 seed TCU in Denver on Friday.

The Wolf Pack were the 36th and final team to receive an at-large bid for this year’s NCAA Tournament, according to the selection committee. A better resume than Oklahoma State and Rutgers in the eyes of the committee helped Nevada get into the field, despite losing its last three games.

Nevada finished with an overall record of 22-10 and 12-6 in the Mountain West Conference. It will be the school’s first tournament appearance since the 2018-19 season.

On the other side, Arizona State will have a few familiar faces in the starting lineup. Warren Washington and Desmond Cambridge Jr. both transferred from Nevada, creating an intriguing storyline for this matchup. The Sun Devils fell victim to Arizona in the Pac-12 semifinal, but their 22-12 overall record and 11-9 conference record were enough for them to go dancing. It will also be the first NCAA appearance for Arizona State since 2019.
