The Bears will attempt to snap a two-game skid when they square off with the Panthers on “Thursday Night Football.”
Chicago defeated Las Vegas in Week 7 to earn its second win of the 2023 season, but it then proceeded to drop its next two games against the Chargers and Saints in large part because of turnover issues. Bears quarterback Tyson Bagent, who has been filling in for the injured Justin Fields, threw three interceptions and lost a fumble in Week 9.
“I thought our team played extremely well, which is why it’s so embarrassing,” Bagent said. “One-score game, lose the turnover battle by that amount, it’s embarrassing. It’s part of the game, and I’m just looking forward to building and learning from this experience.”
