Game 1 of the 2022 NBA Finals was one to remember, with the Celtics striking first by way of a come-from-behind road victory over the Warriors.
While there was no shortage of star power in the game, Boston’s Al Horford shined the brightest, scoring 26 points in his NBA Finals debut to fuel the comeback win. For Golden State, Stephen Curry got out to a hot start with 21 points in the opening frame, but the two-time MVP scored just 13 points over the final three quarters to finish with 34 points.

Despite the loss, Warriors forward Draymond Green remained confident, reminding everyone that it was just one game and the series is the first to four wins.
“We pretty much dominated the game for the first 41-42 minutes,” Green said after Golden State’s Game 1 loss, adding that “we’ll be fine.”
The Celtics, on the other hand, have reason to be confident but after two hard-fought seven-game series, know a worthy response is coming from Golden State in Game 2.
