It’s time to take a break from the arduous NHL season and let this season’s All-Stars get a chance to participate in a fun-filled weekend with the league’s best.

The NHL All-Star festivities kicked off Thursday, when four teams captained by two NHL players and one celebrity guest drafted their respective teams. (Check out the rosters below.)

The skills challenge is scheduled for Friday, including eight different challenges for the players. The challenges feature the fastest skater, hardest shot, stick handling, one-timers, passing and accuracy shooting.

Finally, on Saturday, the NHL All-Star game will take place, but in a tournament style fashion. Check out more about the format below.

What time does the NHL All-Star Game start?

  • Time: 3 p.m. ET

The 2024 NHL All-Star game will begin around 3 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 3.

The three matchups in the 3-on-3 tournament will be played at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.

What channel is the NHL All-Star Game on today?

The 2024 NHL All-Star Game will air nationally in the U.S. on ABC, while fans in Canada can catch the game on Sportsnet and TVA Sports.

2024 NHL All-Star Game format

The NHL All-Star Game features three separate games as a part of the 3-on-3 tournament. The four teams will play two semifinal games, with the winner of each matchup advancing to meet in the finale, where a winner will be crowned.

Each game has two 10-minute halves, with a three-round shootout on deck if the game is tied after 20 minutes.
