It did not take long for Kyle Larson to re-establish himself at the top of one of NASCAR’s races.
At the Wise Power 400 in Fontana, Larson pulled off a late comeback to take the lead in the final laps of the race and hold on for his first win of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series slate. Now, Larson and Austin Cindric are the only two drivers so far this season with wins in the Cup Series, after Cindric won the Daytona 500.
Now with his first win of the season, Larson has to be brimming with confidence heading into the Pennzoil 400. He won the race last year, snapping a two-year win streak by Joey Logano, who won it in both 2019 and 2020. That was Larson’s first win of the year in which he would go on to win the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series Championship.

Should Larson win the race for the second straight year, he would become only the fourth driver to win the race in at least two straight races, joining Jeff Burton (1999-2000), Jimmie Johnson (2005-07) and Logano.
Here is everything you need to know about the Pennzoil 400, including the start time and TV channel for the race.
