What time is the NFL game tonight? TV schedule, channel for Bears vs. Patriots in Week 7

By | October 24, 2022

“Monday Night Football” in Week 7 pits two young quarterbacks against each other as the Bears host the Patriots.

Chicago comes into the matchup with a bit of extra rest. The Bears played on Thursday night in Week 6, falling 12-7 to the Commanders. The team enters the game with the Patriots at 2-4 and on a three-game losing streak.

Justin Fields completed 14 of 27 passes for 190 yards with a touchdown and an interception. A majority of the damage done by the Bears was on the ground, as Fields, Khalil Herbert and David Montgomery helped lead the team to 237 rushing yards. All three recorded at least 67 yards in the run game.

As for the Patriots, it is unclear if it will be Bailey Zappe or Mac Jones under center on Monday. Jones has been out with an ankle injury, but the rookie Zappe has been playing strong football, helping lead the Pats to two wins in two starts. Reports indicate that Jones expects to return Monday, but it has not been officially announced.

Most recently, Zappe and New England took down Cleveland, earning a 38-15 win over the Browns. Zappe tossed 309 yards through the air with two touchdowns, while Rhamondre Stevenson powered the running game with 76 rushing yards and two scores.

Can the Bears end the Patriots’ two-game winning streak, or will New England pick up its third win in a row?
