For the second week in a row, the Eagles are putting their undefeated record on the line in prime time, this time with the Commanders coming to Philadelphia for “Monday Night Football” in Week 10.
The Eagles took down the Texans 29-17 in Week 9 on “Thursday Night Football.” Jalen Hurts was extremely efficient in the win, completing 21 of 27 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns. Miles Sanders rushed for 93 yards and a score, while tight end Dallas Goedert had his best outing of the season with eight catches for 100 yards and a TD.
The win moved the Eagles to a perfect 8-0 and kept them in sole possession of first place in the NFC East.
The Commanders (4-5) let a one-score lead in the fourth quarter slip away last week before falling 20-17 to the Vikings. Taylor Heinicke was OK in his third start of the season but lost for the first time since taking over for the injured Carson Wentz. He completed 15 of 28 passes for 149 yards, two touchdowns and a pick.
