CM Punk might be the only man more popular in Chicago than Michael Jordan.
The Best in the World made his stunning return to professional wrestling just a few weeks ago in the United Center in Chi Town, and he returns to the ring this Sunday at AEW’s All Out, live from the NOW Arena.
After years of rumors months of teases by AEW talent, Punk faces a big challenge in his in-ring return as he squares off against former TNT Champion and one of the hottest rising stars in the wrestling industry, Darby Allin.
Punk’s return promo singled out Allin as one of the young, talented wrestlers he wanted to work with upon his return to the squared circle, and he won’t have to wait long, with their match taking place on Sunday and likely closing out the show.
Elsewhere in the card, the Elite defends all of their gold. The Young Bucks take on the Lucha Brothers in an AEW Tag Team Championship match, while Kenny Omega tries to get a win back and defend the AEW Championship over Christian Cage.
