The 2024 Masters final will be one of the best ever deciders at the tournament if it can match the drama of last season’s showpiece, when Judd Trump recovered from 7-6 and 8-7 behind to take the title with a 10-8 win over Mark Williams.
Trump prevailed with a 126 break — the fifth century of the match — and later called his victory “incredible” while describing himself as “totally outplayed”.
The current world number one is the only player to have won the Masters more than once over the past six years.

What is a Triple Crown in snooker?
The three events in the Triple Crown Series are considered the most prestigious in snooker: the UK Championship in November, the Masters in January, and the World Championship in April and May.
O’Sullivan, Trump, Mark Selby and Neil Robertson are among the players to have joined legends such as Stephen Hendry and Alex Higgins in winning each of the events during their career, giving them a Triple Crown.
No player has won all three in the same season since Welshman Williams did so in 2002/03. Trump has gone closest in recent years, winning the Masters and the World Championship in 2018/19.
