When is the World Series 2023? Start date, TV schedule & more for Fall Classic games

By | October 24, 2023

The Fall Classic is just about upon us. This year’s World Series is nearly set, with the Rangers waiting to see which between the Phillies and Diamondbacks it will face in a battle of baseball supremacy.

For the Rangers, they’re entering uncharted waters. Texas hasn’t mounted a serious title charge since the Obama administration. But with Corey Seager, Marcus Semien and Adolis Garcia in the lineup, they always had a shot. And after vanquishing the Astros in seven games, they find themselves four wins away from immortality.

No matter the opponent, the Rangers will be faced with quite the test.

For the Phillies, Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber’s power is prodigious. In Arizona, Corbin Carroll is a star, and so too is Alek Thomas if he continues hitting like he has in the NLCS. If either can carry their best play into the Fall Classic, it could be a long series for opposition pitching.
