When is WWE WrestleMania 2023? Date, time, channel & live streams for wrestling PPV event

By | February 18, 2023

Around since 1985, WrestleMania is viewed under the same breath as events like the Super Bowl, NCAA Final Four, World Series, and the FIFA World Cup. A truly global phenomenon, WrestleMania has helped transform the pro wrestling industry.

The latest installment of WWE’s premier event, WrestleMania 39, will be inside SoFi Stadium in California. SoFi Stadium sounds familiar, as that was the location for WrestleMania 37 before the the COVID-19 pandemic nixed the event. Like recent WrestleManias since the pandemic, WrestleMania 39 will be two nights — April 1 and 2.

Even if you are not a fan of pro wrestling, almost everyone has heard the name “WrestleMania.” Seth “Freakin’” Rollins recently explained how big WrestleMania really is in an interview with Windy City Gridiron.

“For myself, someone who’s been in WWE for 10 years now, I’ve been able to wrestle all over the world in front of different crowds in different stadiums and you know, you just get desensitized to it a little bit. But WrestleMania is the one thing, the one time of the year where the nerves never wear off and you live for that moment.”

“You build your legacies at WrestleMania. In the post season of the NFL, that’s where quarterbacks build their legacies in big games. For us in WWE, that’s where you create your legacy. It doesn’t get any bigger. This one is in Hollywood, all eyes are gonna be on us for two nights in April. It’s gonna be special.”

Several matches for the event are already official following the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber events. Rhea Ripley, the 2023 women’s Royal Rumble match winner, faces Charlotte Flair for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Title. Men’s Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes faces Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title.

More bouts are set to be released as we get closer to WrestleMania.
