Barcelona vs Spurs lineups, team news

In their last friendly, Xavi put out a much more rotated side than against Real Madrid in Dallas. It’s expected he could return to a stronger side to face Tottenham as he hopes to get his first XI to match fitness ahead of the La Liga season.

Barcelona predicted lineup (4-3-3): Pena (GK) — Ronald Araujo, Joules Kounde, Eric Garcia, Alex Balde — Frenkie De Jong, Pedri, Oriel Romeu — Raphinha, Ansu Fati, Robert Lewandowski.

For Spurs, Ange Postecoglou will be hoping to continue his ultra-attacking style of play that entertained the Tottenham faithful at the weekend in their 5-1 victory over Shakhtar. New signings Guglielmo Vicario and Destiny Udogie both played 90 minutes in that win and could see more minutes to get their match fitness up.

Tottenham Hotspur predicted lineup (4-3-3): Vicario (GK) — Emerson Royal, Cristian Romero, Ben Davies, Iyenoma Udogie — Oliver Skipp, James Maddison, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg — Dejan Kulusevski, Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son.
