Lamine Yamal became the youngest scorer in La Liga history on Sunday but the 16-year-old Barcelona winger has since withdrawn from his national squad after being assessed by Spain’s medical team. Club teammate Gavi is also a doubt in midfield.
After Villarreal winger Yeremy Pino was injured last week, De La Fuente called up Ansu Fati — currently on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion from Barca — and Granada’s Bryan Zaragoza. Athletic Bilbao attacking midfielder Oihan Sancet joins Zaragoza in hoping for a senior international debut.
