Who plays on ‘Sunday Night Football’ tonight? Time, TV channel, schedule for NFL Week 3 game

By | September 22, 2024

The Chiefs hit the road for the first time this season, as the defending Super Bowl champions battle the upstart Falcons.

Kansas City (2-0) eked out a pair of hard-fought victories at home, the latest being a one-point win over Cincinnati on Sunday. Patrick Mahomes looked mortal, throwing a pair of interceptions, while stalwart tight end Travis Kelce recorded just one reception for five yards.

The Chiefs will have to adjust to life without running back Isaiah Pacheco, who was placed on Injured Reserve after suffering a broken fibula.

Atlanta (1-1) is coming off a stirring comeback victory over the Eagles. Veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins — signed to a lucrative four-year contract in the offseason — authored his first marquee moment as a Falcon, tossing the game-winning touchdown pass to Drake London with 34 seconds to play.

Safety Jessie Bates III then notched the game-sealing interception off Jalen Hurts to ice the game.
