Women’s College World Series bracket 2023: Full schedule, times, TV channels for NCAA softball tournament

By | June 1, 2023

The Women’s College World Series bracket is set, and Oklahoma remains the team to beat.

The Sooners have lost just once this season and are on an NCAA-record 48-game winning streak. They narrowly survived a Game 2 scare from Clemson in the super regionals to book their ticket to Oklahoma City as the odds-on favorite. Still, title hopes live on for the seven other teams.

Oklahoma State, Florida State, Tennessee, Stanford and Washington all swept their super regional series as well and are bringing plenty of momentum onto softball’s biggest stage. Alabama and Utah each came back from Game 1 losses to advance.

All eyes will be on Oklahoma as long as the Sooners are alive, but an early matchup between Florida State and Oklahoma State could be a thriller. The Seminoles have expectations of a deep run in Oklahoma City, while the Cowboys outscored Oregon 17-1 in the super regionals.

Here’s what you need to know about the Women’s College World Series bracket and TV schedule.

2023 Women’s College World Series bracket

1 Oklahoma
9 Stanford
4 Tennessee
5 Alabama
3 Florida State
6 Oklahoma State
7 Washington
15 Utah

The Women’s College World Series does not operate as a traditional bracket, as double elimination is used to shrink the field, but the bracket does keep its shape through two games.

The winner of the matchup between Oklahoma and Stanford will face the winner of the game between Tennessee and Alabama. The losers of those two games, meanwhile, will face each other in an elimination game.

The same process will occur at the bottom of the bracket, with the winner of Florida State vs. Oklahoma State facing the winner of Washington vs. Utah and the losers squaring off.
