You can find this Tear Stone below the main entrance point to Asgard in the top left of the region. From the roads leading down, take the southwest path past some sealed doors to drop down to a lower platform with a cave entrance.
Here you’ll find some scaffolding inside next to a broken bridge and some explosive urns. You can grab an urn, jump onto the broken bridge rope and move along the center to look down for rubble below the scaffolding – and hop across to safely get down before tossing the urn onto the rubble, clearing the way to the chest.
This Tear Stone is located along the northwestern shores of the island where the tower is, all the way down at it’s base. Carefully descend the mountain and you can find the chest under a red awning by a boat.
The last Ymir Stone at Heimdall’s Tower is located on the northeastern side of the island, between the two teleporters. Halfway down the mountain after diving into a pile of leaves, you can find a string of pillars with rope between several of them, leading to a large rock with a rubble wall.
Climb up near the leaf pile to find an explosive urn near the rope lines you can traverse, and then hop between the rocky pillars to reach the rubble wall and detonate it to get to the chest.
This Ymir Stone is located on the western side of the central island of Asgard, just past the large main pool before the rainbow bridge. By jumping down the waterfalls below the pool, you can find one grate to swim under and find the chest on the other side.
You can find this Ymir Stone on the northern side of the central Asgard island, among the crowds loitering by a large lake.
On the far right side you can find a bridge going over the lake, and under the bridge is a wrecked boat with explosive urns, and a trail of debris along the water leading to a rubble door you can toss the urn at to explode it apart, leading to the chest.
The first of two Ymir Stones hiding in Ivaldi’s Forge on the southside of central Asgard island, you can enter his forge by looking for an open grate near the edge of the center feasting area.
Once you dive in, climb up the scaffolding around the forge to climb up around the large statue to reach a hanging platform. From here you can shoot a ladder down to climb up above the statue and reach the chest.

This Ymir Stone is located along the walls of the central Asgard tower, but it can be tricky to find a way to reach it. After diving down from Odin’s throne, you can spot the chest up above on the right, and a rope with red flags linking the platform to a tree on the northern arch.
You can’t exactly reach the rope that’s tied to the tree base, but if you look above the tree, you’ll find a zipline nearby the runs over the rope you need to cross to get to the chest – which means you’ll need to time it right to drop from the zipline to the rope below. If you miss, you can also jump from a light post on the other side of the zipline.
You’ll find this Tear of Ymir located beneath Ymir’s Altar on the east side of central Asgard island. Drop down below the altar on the south side, and you can find a small cave entrance full of toxic gas. Toss a torch to disperse the gas, then climb up the far side to find the chest.
The last of the Ymir Tear Stones in the central Asgard island can be found on the far east side of the island above Ymir’s Altar.
Look for the large rocky pillar on the edge of the island and find the scaffolding that surrounds the rocks to traverse to the other side. On the far side of the rock you’ll find an outcropping of a small house on a wooden balcony, and inside will be the chest.
The first of two Ymir Stones located on the small center island of Indre Holm where the tower is built, this stone can be found on the north side of the island.
From the waters on the north side, look for some green crystals above a floating platform, and dive below the surface to find a weak wooden wall leading into a cave system.
As you come up, you’ll find a set of two forcefields similar to the ones found in the well. Align the first beam with the receptacle to gain entry in a chamber with two more forefields. You can align the second beam with the first forcefield to find a Jotun enemy, or turn it to the other corner to find another weak wooden wall leading to the chest.
The second of two Ymir Stones located on the small center island of Indre Holm where the tower is built, this stone can be found on the south side of the island.
This stone can only be accessed during and after a particular main quest in Asgard, The Big Finish. Loki will ask you to search the southern part of the island for the Builder’s secret stash. Look for a trail leading to a cave on the southwest side, and you’ll find a red door with a rune you can only force open with Loki’s help.
Once inside, you’ll find a lush cavern full of Jotun, plants, and statues – and the chest will be on the left as you enter.
This Ymir Stone is found on the eastern island of Asgard, to the north of the Trolltonn area.
Look for a path on the northern side of the island until you reach a lone triangular hut in the middle of the woods. Note the supplies of arrows on all sides of the building, and head around to the back to find a wooden window you can destroy to gain entry, and gain the chest inside.
You can find this Ymir Stone on the eastern Asgard island, up on the northern side between Trolltonn and the lone hut in the woods.
Look for two small shallow pools on the north side of the island, and head to the eastern one to find a series of trees and a platform high up holding the chest. You’ll need to look for a fallen tree to move up on the western side of the pool, which is guarded by a group of wolves.

One of four Ymir Stones found in the eastern island on Asgard, at the hostile territory called Trolltonn.
This Ymir Stone can be found at the very top of the Trolltonn fortress among the ice. However, due to the icy coverings, you can’t just climb up directly. Start by climbing up one of the uncovered pillars near the central tower and use the ropes to get close to the tower. Circle around to find parts not covered in ice, and use these small gaps to climb up and around to reach the top where the chest is.
One of four Ymir Stones found in the eastern island on Asgard, at the hostile territory called Trolltonn.
This Ymir Stone is one of two found under the large ruined tower, and you can find an entrance to the underground lair near the one Ymir Stone chest out in the open – look for an ice wall at the base of the tower to break your way in.
Once inside, slide down the embankment and you’ll find a T junction with a blocked crawlspace to the right leading to the chest. Search back along the wall towards the embankment to find a crevice to dip into, which will lead to a chamber opposite the chest room that you can spy in to shoot an arrow at the explosive urns next to unblock the crawlspace, letting you access the chest.

This Ymir Stone is one of two found under the ruined fort, which you can access by destroying an ice wall near the one chest out in the open courtyard next to the fort.
After sliding down, look left to find a blocked doorway, and look above the door to find an ice wall through a grate you can shoot, and then shoot the explosive urns embedded in the ceiling to start a chain reaction, getting you access to the chest inside.
This Ymir Stone can be found inside the Well of Udr location on the eastern island of Asgard, available during and after an early Asgard quest.
Once you enter the Well of Urdr, and slide down an embankment towards a pool of water, dive into the water and head under the slope you just descended to find the chest in a hidden room.
You can find this Ymir Stone inside the Well of Udr location, on the southern part of the eastern island of Asgard, available during and after an early Asgard quest.
After you have located the entrance to the Well of Udr, and passed through the first green forcefield gate, you’ll find yourself in a long verdant cave hallway. If you look up on the right, you can spy a high platform where the chest is hiding, and use the platforms along the right side to climb up and reach it.
This Ymir Stone is located just off the coast of the eastern island in Asgard, on a small shore to the southeast of the large island.
Head along to the coast of the island and you should find a bluff looking down on a red boathouse. A trail of wrecked ships and debris leads all the way from this boathouse to a small island, and you can parkour your way along to find the chest hiding on a beached longship on this small island.
You can find this Ymir Stone between the eastern and southern islands of Asgard, in a watery grave.
Look to where the small crossing between the eastern and southern islands are to find a small bit of debris floating in the water, and use it as your starting point to swim straight down. Once you reach the bottom, you’ll find several sunken pillars around a dias where the chest sits in the water waiting for you.
This Ymir Stone can be found on the eastern edge of the main southern island in Asgard, among some ruins.
Look south of the road on a hill to find an old ruined area with stairs leading down to a rubble wall you can explode.
While using explosive arrows will always work, you can also climb up the ruins above the wall to find some floor grates looking into the other side of the wall where several explosive urns are placed. Shoot one with an arrow to create a path to the chest.
This Ymir Stone is located on the east side of the large southern island in Asgard, in a small valley.
Look for a large stone dias with a few stone pillars, and once you arrive, check the cliff walls to the south to find a set of hanging objects that can be cut down with a well-placed arrow shot. One of these is blocking the entrance to a small hole in the cliff wall where the chest is hiding.
Unlike all other Ymir Stones in Asgard, this particular stone can only be accessed as a reward for completing a simple World Event on the east side of the southern Asgard island.
Look for a World Event called Noble Harts, where Odin will find a lone stag that begins to move down on a path southwest across the island, followed by more and more legendary stag creatures. Avoid or kill any patrolling Jotun as you follow the herd.
Once you find the final stag of the herd, you’ll reach a small grove at the base of a large mountain, and the stag will all disappear, leaving the chest in its place.
You can find one of three Ymir Stones in the hostile area of the southern Asgard Island, in a place called Utangard Chasm.
This particular Ymir Stone can be found as you first enter the hostile zone up the path throw a narrow canyon. Look up on the right when you reach an equipment stall with a striped awning to find a crack in the wall above and slip in. Once inside you’ll have to solve a small moving block puzzle – move the first three blocks back towards you, then step around them to find another small block that’s in the way of a longer block guarding the chest. Note the small obstacles on the floor that prevent movement in certain directions, and pull this lone block towards the far wall, allowing you to bring the long block out and reach the chest.
This Ymir Stone is one of three found in the hostile area of the southern Asgard Island, in a place called Utangard Chasm.
Further past the last chest, you’ll have to contend with several Jotun in a large courtyard before the path goes deep into a narrow canyon with large walls. If you look along the right side, you may be able to spot a chest behind a large gate that you can’t get through. Instead, climb up out of the canyon and defeat the Jotun along the top to find a weak wooden ceiling you can break open to drop down with the chest.
One of three Ymir Stones you can find in the hostile region of Utangard Chasm in the southern Asgard island.
This is the only chest in Asgard that requires a key to open, which is usually carried by a Jotun murderer along the chasm path in a large courtyard. Once you have claimed the key, follow the chasm path until you hit a dead end.
Along the wall here is a small crack you can squeeze into to find a large arena with more Jotun enemies, and the locked chest will be in the middle against a pillar.
This Ymir Stone is located on the southern Asgard island, on top of a high mountain.
Climb the large mountain above the Utangard Chasm to the sync point, and then dive down to where you need to collect the roots for the one main quest Taking Root. After you dive into the water, look for the glowing lights that lead into the watery cave and follow them to find another light puzzle.
Swing the first light over to the left to hit the second receptacle, and swim over to point that second receptacle into a hidden chamber to your left to a third receptacle. Finally, use the last receptacle in the small room to aim at the floor to lower the underwater forcefield allowing you to claim the chest.
This Ymir Stone is the only stone located on the far western island in Asgard.
Climb up the main path of the western island to find a large arena at the base of a big mountain. On the far side of the arena, you’ll find a cave entrance with a large slab you must move back and to the side to gain entry.
In this next room, note the noxious fumes and pull out a torch, and toss it through one of the cracks to ignite the fumes then quickly hop into the next room to claim the chest before the fumes appear again.
