Ghost of Tsushima: Legends’ Classes

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will feature four classes – Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, and Assassin – that each have their own play-style and advantages. When you begin Legends, you will choose your starting class, and the others can be unlocked through play.

Each class will start with its own unique ability, and an alternate ability can be unlocked as you progress. Class-specific Charms and ranged weapons can also be unlocked. Additionally, players can choose any combination of classes to play with friends, including each player taking on the role of the same class.

The Samurai “can run straight toward combat and stay there, sustaining their health while chopping enemies down left and right.” They also have the Hachiman’s Fury ultimate attack that will “slash through enemies in a flurry of strikes.

The Hunter “can stand on the edge of combat and snipe enemies before they even see you.” Explosive arrows will also be available to slow down enemies, and the Eye of Uchitsune ultimate attack will “unleash multiple arrows straight at your enemies’ heads.”Ronin players “can revive their entire team with the Breath of Izanami ultimate ability.” Also, and perhaps most importantly, they can summon a Spirit Dog, and yes, you can PET THE GOOD PUPPERS.The Assassin is meant for those who love doing massive damage with a single attack. They can utilize their Shadow Strike ultimate ability that will “allow you to teleport across the battlefield and directly strike your enemies.” Lastly, they can wear “terrifying masks” that will surely strike fear into all enemies.

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends Story Missions, Survival Missions, and Raid

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends’ Story Missions are designed for two players and will tell the story “about what’s really happening in Tsushima.” As you progress, you will unlock higher difficulties, face new encounters, tougher enemies, bonus objectives, and be able to earn greater rewards.

Survival Missions, on the other hand, support up to four players who must work together to fight off waves of enemies while defending different locations in Tsushima. Blessings will be able to be activated, like “ignite enemies” or “summon a Spirit Bear,” and the longer you survive and the more bonus objectives you complete, the more reward can be earned.

The Raid will require “all your skill, top-tier gear, and a great 4-player team to be able to survive in Iyo’s realm!” When released, the raid will be a epic, three-part adventure that will require teamwork and communication to overcome.

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will support Photo Mode as long as your teammates opt in, and this new mode is filled with new cosmetics that are unlocked through gameplay without any microtransactions. There will also be new trophies for Ghost of Tsushima: Legends that will not count towards the standard Ghost of Tsushima Platinum Trophy.

Ghost of Tsushima Single-Player Campaign Updates

As previously mentioned, New Game+ will be added with the 1.1 update, and will start players at the open world, “shortly after Jin’s initial confrontation with the Khan.” All Techniques, Gear, and Vanity items previously obtained will carry over, and difficulty will be increased to provide more challenge, but it can be adjusted in the menu if it proves too much.

Players will also be treated to a New Game+ horse that features a “vibrant red mane and unique saddle.” New Charms will also be available alongside upgrades for Jin’s sword, bow, and armor.

The Ghost Flower merchant will appear in Ariake in New Game+ and will accept the newly added Ghost Flowers. These can be obtained by completing a Tale or activity and already have the reward, giving extra incentive to play through again.

Ghost Flowers can be exchanged for Charms, new armor dyes, and other vanity gear only found in New Game+.
