How to Get Bloodrun Jewels

Bloodrun Jewels in Monter Hunter Rise are only received by completing specific quests: As Quest Rewards for completing High Rank 6- and 7-Star Gathering Hub quests, and helping Low Rank hunters with low-rank quests.

You cannot get Bloodrun Jewels as a reward by doing Village Quests, as these are all low-rank.

6- and 7-Star Gathering Hub Quest Rewards

Specifically, there’s a chance to receive Bloodrun Jewels after completing 6-Star and 7-Star Gathering Hub Quests under the “Quest Rewards” tab on the rewards screen.

Bloodrun Jewels as Helper Rewards

You will also occasionally receive Bloodrun Jewels as a Helper Reward when helping out Low-Rank players complete Low-Rank quests.

Helping any low-rank player in your Monster Hunter Rise lobby will grant you Helper Rewards, as long as the low-rank player posts the quest and you yourself are High Rank. (We believe you may have to be HR6 or above to begin receiving Bloodrun Jewels).

If you don’t have anyone to play with, or would like to forgo creating a lobby, easily join a Low Rank quest in multiplayer by opening the Quest Board, choosing a Low-Rank Quest, and selecting “Accept via Join Request.”

This will have you join that quest already in progress. You can join any low-rank quest, even a 1-Star optional quest, and have a chance to receive Bloodrun Jewels as a Helper Reward.

Alternatively, you can join an online lobby with Low Rank players and help them with their quests. This is probably the nicest method, but is not quite as fast as using the Join Request system.

Best Way to Farm Bloodrun Jewels

Defeating the final boss in base Monster Hunter Rise, a 7-Star Gathering Hub Quest, can grant up to SIX Bloodrun Jewels at once as Quest Rewards. Again, this is also a chance – you may not receive any, or only one or two, but the chance to receive more at once is there. It’s lucky to receive more than one from any other 6- or 7-Star Gathering Hub Quest, it seems, so this is the best single quest you can do to get multiple Bloodrun Jewels at once in Monster Hunter Rise.

Completing low rank quests online, especially optional 1-Star quests against small monsters with the Accept via Join Request method, can be incredibly fast and easy. Again, these only have a chance to grant a single Bloodrun Jewel at the end of each mission. Bloodrun Jewels are not guaranteed as a Helper Reward. However, if you need any specific Low-Rank monster parts, helping Low-Rank players may be better – and grant you more needed materials at once.
