Adam Cole Says It Is ‘Invigorating’ To Not Be In Undisputed Era Anymore

By | June 27, 2021

The Undisputed Era were a faction that many fans didn’t want to see split up. The stable finally did splinter and now Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly have their own feud. Bobby Fish is doing his own thing now and Roderick Strong is a part of the new Diamond Mine stable. Cole doesn’t mind being on his own at all.

While talking to After The Bell, Adam Cole went into how he’s been taking the idea of being a single star after the Undisputed Era broke up. He said the the experience is “invigorating.”

Cole knew O’Reilly, Strong, and Fish for a very long time on the indies prior to entering WWE. The faction made very strong allies and they were covered with gold for a time, but now it’s time for Adam Cole to make an impression on his own.

“It’s actually invigorating. When I look back on everything that me and The Undisputed Era did together, I do look back fondly on it.  To be able to come into a place like WWE, where your anxiety, and the pressure that you put on yourself is at an all time high, to be able to share that with people who I, at one point, considered brothers, and people who I was very close with, traveled the road up and down with for 10+ years, again, I’ve know Kyle since 2009.  I was in his wedding.  I’ve known him for a really long time, so to be able to share that with them was really cool.  But truth be told, it was really exciting to go, ‘Ok, I got to go do this on my own now.  I have to make an impact and make an impression on my own.’  So far, it’s been really cool.  It’s been really exciting.”

Adam Cole has Kyle O’Reilly to deal with once again at the Great American Bash on July 6th. That will likely be a brutal contest, because they say that you always hit your friends the hardest. Cole and O’Reilly have more than proved that already.

Cole will continue forging his legacy in the black and gold brand, elevating NXT to the best of his ability. He also doesn’t like it at all when people refer to NXT as WWE’s developmental area. There is a reason for that, because he’s put in a lot of work to cause people to think far more than that about what NXT has to offer.
