AEW Censored Philadelphia’s Hatred For Ben Simmons On Rampage This Week

By | October 8, 2021

AEW taped Rampage in Philly this week and they had quite a crowd there in the building. They also really don’t like Ben Simmons. He doesn’t want to play for the 76ers anymore, and the city hates his guts for it.

Ringside News reported that there were tons of “F*ck Ben Simmons” chants on Rampage after Max Caster brought him up in his pre-match rap. There were actually two sets of chants there went on for a very long time.

Max Caster mentioned Ben Simmons during his rap. Huge “F*ck Ben Simmons” chants rang out. The “F*ck Ben Simmons” chants kept coming, and there were, at least, two instances of those chants ringing out for a long time. We wonder how Tony Khan is going to edit around that one.

When AEW Rampage aired on TNT, those “F*ck Ben Simmons” chants were not heard at all. They were able to erase them from the broadcast and present the AEW World Tag Team Title match without all that additional profanity from the Philly crowd.

Let it be known that “F*ck Ben Simmons” chants were all over that Philly crowd, but Tony Khan went into editing overdrive to make sure they didn’t air all of those F-Bombs on television.
