Bob Ryder, Co-Founder Of Impact Wrestling Found Dead In Home By Police

By | November 25, 2020

We are very sad to learn about the passing of Bob Ryder, one of the founders of TNA Wrestling. Ryder remained with the company for over 18 years. Some fans might know him for his work with WCW as well.

He was found dead in his Nashville home by police on Wednesday morning. Bob Ryder battled cancer for years, and he has not attended any live shows in recent memory. He was undergoing intense chemotherapy.

F4WOnline reports that Ryder suffered a fall yesterday and he could not get up. He texted people to let them know he was okay. After that, he did not answer any more texts or calls. Police found him in his home this morning.

Our deepest condolences go out to Bob Ryder’s family and friends at this time. He was a pioneer in pro wrestling websites as he founded 1wrestling in the 90’s and he did radio work online along with working for WCW where he became close friends with Eric Bischoff.
