Bobby Fish Reveals What He Really Thought Of Adam Cole’s AEW Debut

By | October 10, 2021

Adam Cole left NXT after the conclusion of NXT TakeOver 36, where he lost to Kyle O’Reilly, bringing an end to their feud. Right after that, Adam Cole’s WWE contract also expired and thus he became a free agent.

Adam Cole decided to shock the world as he debuted at AEW All Out earlier this month and he couldn’t be happier. This is especially due to the fact that he is in the same company as his girlfriend AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker.

Before making his way to AEW, Adam Cole was part of The Undisputed Era in NXT, alongside Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish. Fish would end up signing with AEW as well.

While speaking on Chris Van Vliet‘s podcast, Bobby Fish talked about Adam Cole’s AEW debut and stated that he was happy to see a smile on Cole’s face, adding that his debut was incredible.

“I was away, so I caught it a day later. But, I did see it for sure. It was incredible, they’re hitting home runs there, you know, and it came at a time with [CM] Punk and Bryan [Danielson] there.

Yeah, when you’re making contact with almost every pitch, it’s just it’s a good time for them right now. To see the smile on Adam’s face, knowing him the way I do, knowing that it was real and genuine, and I was happy for him.”

Bobby Fish is set to square off against Bryan Danielson on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite so it remains to be seen how the match will turn out to be.
