Booker T Is Ready To Throw Down With Kevin Owens Over Texas

By | March 1, 2022

Kevin Owens absolutely loathes Texas and there’s no denying that. The former Universal Champion can’t stop ranting about the southern state. It seems that KO’s remarks have hurt the feelings of several WWE legends who hail from a state all set to host WrestleMania 38.

Hours after JBL said he didn’t want Owens to come to Texas, Booker T joined the fellow Hall of Famer to call out KO for his continuous diatribe against Texas. The five-time WCW champion took to Twitter to issue a warning to Owens and he meant every single bit of it.

“I got a little message… for Kevin Owens. You know, I thought you and I was cool bro but you’re nothing more than a liar. You lied to me, you lied to the people. And you know what, you’d be lucky if you make it to WrestleMania in Dallas, Texas. Don’t mess with Texas, sucka!”

WWE is moving ahead with a WrestleMania match between Owens and Texas native “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. It remains to be seen when WWE will start booking Owens and Austin for WrestleMania 38. For now, KO is involved in a tag team program with Seth Rollins.
