Brie Bella Was Not Thrilled About Bryan Danielson’ Bloody Match Against Hangman Page

By | January 22, 2022

Bryan Danielson is one of the best wrestlers in the world today. The American Dragon has delivered classics after classics ever since founding a new home in Tony Khan’s AEW. That bloody battle gained quite a bit of attention, especially from Brie Bella.

Danielson’s title match against reigning AEW World Champion Adam Page at the company’s Winter Is Coming PPV event earned a five-star rating from veteran journalist David Meltzer. Many other fans loved what they brought to the table.

The bloody and hard-hitting affair showed a new side of Danielson for fans who never saw him compete outside of WWE. Both men went all out with their move sets, but it was the champion who got the better of the challenger on the January 5th episode of Dynamite.

Danielson recently revealed the match did not sit well with his wife Brie Bella due to it being a brutal and hard-hitting affair. “The last match with ‘Hangman’ Adam Page, in which I was a bloody mess, she was a little perturbed by that one,” he told Muscle & Fitness.

He continued, “But she knows that also, I am very conscious of my health.” Danielson added that he’s excited about Brie making her in-ring return with the upcoming Women’s Royal Rumble match.

We’ll have to see what’s next for Bryan Danielson. It stands to reason that AEW will give us a match against Jon Moxley sooner than later. That was the cancelled Full Gear match, after all. Let’s hope Brie Bella is okay with what they have in store for her husband.
