Buddy Matthews Issues Apology To Anyone He Offended With Controversial Tweet

By | August 31, 2021

Buddy Matthews wanted to send a message today, but it was not received in the way he intended. A message about his own freedom from WWE was taken the wrong way by some fans. He deleted that tweet, and now he has also apologized.

The former Murphy tweeted out to address his social media faux pas. He didn’t mean to offend anyone with that image that some took as racially insensitive. He was excited about his own 90-day non-compete clause expiring, giving him the freedom to do as he pleases now. His message was taken the wrong way entirely.

My apologies for the tweet I posted earlier today if it offended you. It wasn’t my intention AT ALL! And FAR from what I intended it to mean! deleted the the tweet. Once again. My apologies!

Some fans didn’t think that there was anything wrong with Buddy Matthews’ tweet. Others were quite outspoken about how they felt otherwise. Either way, Matthews certainly didn’t mean to upset anyone with that tweet about turning the next chapter in his career.
