CM Punk Cuts Promo For Fans After AEW Double Or Nothing

CM Punk entered the main event at Double or Nothing with nothing to lose and walked out of the arena with a big gold belt on his shoulder. Yes, you read that right. Punk is the new AEW World Champion. After the show was over, the Second City Savior had a lot to say.

Punk beat “Hangman” Adam Page to win the AEW World Championship in the main event of Double or Nothing. The “Best in the World” reversed a Buckshot Lariat into a GTS for the win.

After the show was over, Punk thanked the crowd for coming out and supporting the company. The newly-crowned AEW World Champion was then joined by ROH World Tag Team Champions FTR before he began his victory speech inside the ring.

Punk thanked the whole AEW locker room, saying if it wasn’t for them he wouldn’t been in the company in the first place. He also thanked the fans for making him and FTR the best performers in the world.

The Second City Saint put over his wife, former WWE star AJ Lee, huge. Punk said his wife had always been supportive of him. The crowd gave a huge ovation to the performers after Double or Nothing came to a fitting conclusion.
