CM Punk Reveals Video Of 3-Hour Tattoo Coverup Process For Heels

By | August 29, 2021

CM Punk is one of the most recognizable faces in the pro wrestling industry, but his persona comes with a lot of tattoos. Ricky Rabies, Punk’s character on Heels, doesn’t have the same ink Punk does at all. That being said, CM Punk got very familar with the makeup artists’ chair on the set of that Starz show.

Punk promised that he would reveal a sped-up video of himself getting all of his signature tattoos covered up. That video came today, just in time for another episode of Heels.

It took three hours to get all of that ink covered up, and the video shows how careful the team on Heels was to make sure his tattoos were not seen on the show.

Punk sent some love to the makeup team on Heels in his caption, “Jorie and Dwayne the real MVPs. Three hours everyday dealing with me asking myself if I put deodorant on today.”

AEW won’t ask CM Punk to cover up any tattoos, but his time as Ricky Rabies required a lot of time in the makeup chair. Obviously, the Pepsi tattoo didn’t mesh with the Ricky Rabies character.
