Cody Rhodes Encourages Fans To Continue Watching AEW Dynamite

By | February 17, 2022

AEW Dynamite drew their lowest viewership since December this week. That came after Cody Rhodes left the company. It’s interesting that they fell from over 1.1 million viewers to over 800k, but Rhodes encourages fans not to give it up.

One fan tweeted out to say, “This situation has me pretty emotional as well. I didn’t watch the show last night beyond to see if they removed Cody from the intro, which they did. I’m taking a hiatus from watching. Cody is the face of the revolution. It won’t be the same without The Rhodes.”

Cody Rhodes saw this tweet and he replied back to encourage fans to continue watching his old company’s television show. There is still a lot going on in AEW, because “Wrestling is thriving.”

I’d encourage you to still watch it – I was very lucky that my hard work led me to be that face, but I wasn’t alone

Nick/Matt/Kenny/Chicken/Jericho/MJF/Hang were as well, and all the new girls and guys putting in a shift now as well

Wrestling is thriving

We’ll have to see what’s next for Cody Rhodes. The general idea is that he is going back to WWE. It will be very interesting to know the specifics of the deal that he is working out with Vince McMahon’s company.
