Darby Allin Calls Out CM Punk On AEW Dynamite

By | July 28, 2021

Darby Allin apparently heard the news that CM Punk is on his way to AEW. He cut a backstage interview while standing next to Sting where he practically called out Punk by name.

We previously reported that AEW announced that they will go to Chicago’s United Center for “The First Dance” on August 20th. This announcement was followed by huge CM Punk chants.

They immediately went backstage where Darby Allin and Sting were standing there. Allin cut a short promo on people who want to say they’re the greatest, or even “the best in the world.” Of course, that is CM Punk’s nickname.

It seems that AEW is outright saying it without saying it. CM Punk is coming to All Elite Wrestling. As Ringside News exclusively reported, he has signed a deal with the company. Darby Allin vs CM Punk seems like a money match to us.

When they cut back to the action in the arena, Jim Ross said that this is an exciting time for AEW. We very well could see CM Punk made his big debut when AEW brings Rampage to the United Center on August 20th. Stay tuned…
