Drew McIntyre Really Wants A ‘Very Special’ Match With Daniel Bryan

By | May 18, 2021

Drew McIntyre remains one of the top Superstars in WWE and certainly has a lot of passion for the pro wrestling business. He is a former two-time WWE Champion and was the face of the company during the pandemic era as the WWE Champion.

He has faced numerous top WWE Superstars on various occasions throughout his career, including the likes of Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. However, there are still a few Superstars he hasn’t had the pleasure of facing yet.

While speaking to Mid-Day, Drew McIntyre was asked about which WWE Superstars he’d like to compete against inside the squared circle. Drew McIntyre revealed that he wants to face off against Daniel Bryan, even though Bryan isn’t with the company anymore.

“Daniel Bryan. I don’t know what’s going on with his future after he lost the match. Maybe he shows up on NXT? Maybe he shows up on RAW? But he and I haven’t got to do much together. Certainly never had anything big, and I think obviously with where we’re at in our careers, it would be something very special.”

Daniel Bryan’s WWE contract expired earlier in the month and since then fans have been wondering whether he will re-sign with the company. The company is leaving the door open for Daniel Bryan’s return but Bryan isn’t interested in a full-time backstage role. We will have to see what is next in store for Daniel Bryan.
