Eric Bischoff Says Shawn Michaels Overacted Too Much In DX’s Second Run

Triple H and Shawn Michaels reformed D-Generation X back in 2006, where the two feuded against Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon. However, it seems Eric Bischoff was not a fan of Shawn Michaels during the second run of DX.

Bischoff spoke on his 83 weeks podcast, where he talked about DX’s second run in WWE. Bischoff added that while it was very entertaining, he simply didn’t like Shawn Michaels’ portrayal in DX.

Bischoff added that Michaels overacted too much and that he tried too hard to be cute. Bischoff ended it by saying Triple H seemed far more natural at it.

It was entertaining as hell. They knocked it out of the park but I wasn’t as big of a fan of Shawn Michaels’ character in DX. I think he overplayed it and he tried too hard to be cute. Only by about 10 or 20 percent – it wasn’t horrible overacting but Triple H seemed a lot more natural at it.

Both Triple H and Shawn Michaels are currently helping to improve NXT as a whole.
