Inner Circle Set To Face Each Other In Tag Team Action Next Week On AEW Dynamite

AEW put on a good show with the February 9th edition of Wednesday Night Dynamite. The episode saw both Keith Lee and Jay White make their debut for Tony Khan’s promotion.

The company also revealed two matches for next week’s episode of Dynamite. One of the two matches will see Inner Circle take on each other as Chris Jericho and Jake Hager square off with Santana and Ortiz in tag team action.

Tension has been boiling in the group ever since Eddie Kingston called out Jericho for not coming to the aid of the former LAX members in time. This week’s Dynamite contained an Inner Circle segment.

The segment saw a heated exchange between the three members of the Inner Circle. At one point, Sammy Guevara emerged as the cooler head only to yelled at by Jericho, which led the TNT champion to quit the group once again.

Ortiz then grabbed the microphone and said they want to sort out their differences with fists rather than talk, prompting Jericho to accept their challenge, thus setting up a tag team match between all but one member of the Inner Circle.

Thunder Rosa vs Mercedes Martinez is the other match announced for the Feb 17th episode of Dynamite. This will be a no disqualification bout as Rosa looks to silence Martinez the same way she silenced Dr. Britt Baker in their historic Lights Out match.

Rosa is intent on taking the AEW Women’s Championship from Baker, but the DMD will stop at nothing to prevent Rosa from coming after her title. Will Rosa be able to withstand the brute strength of Martinez or will Dr. Britt Baker beat Rosa at her own game?

You can check out the lineup (so far) below:

Mercedes Martinez vs Thunder Rosa No DQ Match

Chris Jericho & Jake Hager vs Santana & Ortiz
