WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg’s contributions to the pro wrestling world do not need any introduction. Goldberg truly became a household name during his time in WCW. Goldberg previously admitted that he regretted not appreciating pro wrestling in the past.
WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart had bitter feelings about Goldberg for several years as Bret Hart suffered a concussion after Goldberg hit him with a botched kick during a match at Starrcade in 1999.
Due to this, Bret Hart suffered post-concussion syndrome, which effectively ended his in-ring career. Bret Hart went on record and said that Goldberg’s work rate was “0/10.”
While speaking on his podcast ‘Drive Thru’, Jim Cornette talked about Goldberg ending Bret Hart’s career and Hart saying Goldberg was a 0/10 in the ring. Cornette agreed with Hart’s assessment as well.
“I’m not disagreeing with Bret Hart because if somebody ended my career when I was at the top of my game and making millions of dollars per year because they kicked me in the f***** head and gave me a concussion. I would rate them a zero if not lower than that. At the same point, speaking objectively at things. He was not a zero but he was very close to those low single digits because that was the thing.”
We will never know how much pro wrestling would have been different had Bret Hart still been able to wrestle and not get injured at the hands of Goldberg. Regardless, Bret Hart had previously forgiven Goldberg for what he did as well and no longer has any ill feelings towards him.
