Kyle O’Reilly Hints At Undisputed Era Having A ‘Sweeter’ Reunion

By | June 10, 2021

The Undisputed Era made their debut in NXT back in 2017 and since then they cemented themselves as one of the most dominant factions in the history of the pro wrestling business.

Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong formed the faction that defined the past few years in NXT. Unfortunately, the faction would break up earlier in the year after Adam Cole betrayed the group.

Since then, all members have embarked on their own singles journey. However, fans have been wondering if they will ever get back together again. While speaking to Scott Fishman of TV Insider, Kyle O’Reilly talked about the Undisputed Era splitting up, which he admitted was heartbreaking. However, he added that a reunion in the future could happen.

“To a degree, it was heartbreaking because we put so much into this group,” Kyle O’Reilly admitted. “Groups don’t last for very long in the wrestling business in WWE. So the fact the four of us were a faction for as long as we were and accomplished so many things. That was such an amazing ride as The Undisputed Era. Whether it was time or wasn’t to break up, these things happen. Who is to say The Undisputed Era won’t reunite? To break up makes the reunion that much sweeter.”

Kyle O’Reilly will challenge for the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver: In Your House, as he faces off against Pete Dunne, Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano and Karrion Kross in a fatal five-way match. We will have to see if he will be able to win the match or not and become the new NXT Champion.
