Natalya has been doing really well lately, especially by wrestling outside of WWE. This year, she took part in big events like Bloodsport XIII and NWA’s Crockett Cup tournament. She’s set to compete in WWE EVOLVE and has now responded to someone who claimed it was a demotion.
An account on Twitter claimed that Natalya had been demoted to WWE EVOLVE, implying a downgrade in her career, as they said, “@NatbyNature Got Demoted To @WWNEVOLVE 👀”
Natalya responded by stating that her appearance on the EVOLVE show was intentional and something she personally requested. She explained that she wanted the opportunity to wrestle women from all parts of the industry and explained her drive by saying that once you’ve experienced hunger, you never truly feel full.
“I very specifically asked to compete on this show for many reasons. I want to wrestle against women from every corner of our industry. When you’ve been hungry, you can never be full. #EVOLVE 💜”
Natalya is set to team up with EVOLVE Women’s Champion Kali Armstrong to take on Zayda Steel and Nikkita Lyons in a tag team match next week and it’s clear she is happy to be part of it.
Therefore, her appearance in EVOLVE isn’t a demotion at all since it’s a clear sign that she wants to test herself against a wide range of talent. Therefore, we’ll have to see how she will fare in the tag team match next week.
