Amazon Prime is preparing to bring back the classic show American Gladiators, and the new version will include talent from both WWE and AEW. However, it appears that “one side” has issues with The Miz and AEW stars appearing on the show together.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are some issues coming from “one side” over The Miz appearing on American Gladiators alongside AEW talent like Wardlow and Kamille.
“Apparently there are issues from “one side” due to The Miz and AEW talent (Wardlow and Kamille) being featured on American Gladiators.”
We have previously reported that The Miz will be the host for the upcoming show. In addition to that, former WWE Superstar Rick Boogs, Ohio Valley Wrestling star Jessie Godderz, AEW stars Kamille and Wardlow are all set to appear on the show.
The new version of American Gladiators will feature a team of top athletes from around the world. This includes bodybuilders, former college athletes, CrossFit champions, and fitness trainers. Classic games like “Gauntlet,” “Hang Tough,” and “The Eliminator” will be back, along with new challenges designed to push the players’ strength and endurance even further.
While it is not known which side has an issue, it’s clear that fans are excited to see the new version of American Gladiators. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see how it turns out in the end.
