Former WWE Superstar Dijak took to Twitter and responded to R-Truth’s announcement, stating that he is the best and hopes he and R-Truth can have a rematch in the future, saying, “You’re the best! Hope we can run it back bro ❤️”
Road Dogg took to Twitter and revealed that he’s really sad about R-Truth being let go from WWE. He said it’s a tough part of the wrestling business that most people don’t like, except for the ones in charge of money. He made it clear that he cares a lot about R-Truth and is proud of everything he’s done in his career.
“I am heartbroken. It’s the nature of the beast; the part of business that no one likes but the bean counters. I love Ron the Truth Killings and I don’t care who knows it. WHAT A RUN!”
Ricochet also sent a heartfelt message for R-Truth after his release announcement, calling him an amazing talent and an even better person. He told him to go enjoy life, saying, “You’re an amazing talent and an even better person. Go enjoy your life unc!”
Cathy Kelley also shared her feelings about R-Truth’s release, saying he was one of her favorite and most supportive coworkers. She said she’s really going to miss him, saying, “one of my favorite and most supportive people i’ve ever gotten to work with. gonna miss you so much Truthy 😩”
Big E said that R-Truth always made him laugh more than anyone else backstage. He’s known him for 13 years and said R-Truth treated him like family from the start. He never saw him in a bad mood and said he was always kind and brought joy to everyone around him.
“No one made me laugh backstage more than Ron. I’ve known this man for 13 years. He treated me like a brother from the very first day. Never saw him in a bad mood. A man who spread kindness and joy every chance he could.”
R-Truth’s impending departure comes just a week after he had a match against John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event. R-Truth’s leaving WWE marks the end of a major chapter in wrestling.
