Samoa Joe’s Current Status For WWE NXT 2.0 Tonight

By | September 14, 2021

Samoa Joe was the NXT Champion and there were actually plans for him to be on RAW last night, but those were nixed. There is also a belief within the NXT brand that Samoa Joe isn’t really injured. The Samoan Submission Machine could show up for NXT 2.0, but he’s not there yet.

According to PW Insider, Samoa Joe was not at NXT as of this afternoon. It is unknown if he will make the tapings where a new NXT Champion will be crowned in a fatal four-way match between Tommaso Ciampa, Pete Dunne, Kyle O’Reilly, and LA Knight.

As of an hour ago, Samoa Joe is not there.

The NXT brand will see a new champion crowned tonight, but it’s unclear how long Samoa Joe will remain out of the ring. He made a point to say that he is coming after the NXT Title when his time comes to make a return. Only time will tell how different NXT will look when that day happens.
