Steve Cutler Makes Impact Wrestling Debut

By | June 3, 2021

Steve Cutler was released from WWE after he tested positive for COVID-19. Now Steve Maclin will start his next chapter with Impact Wrestling. The former Forgotten Sons member showed up on Impact Wrestling via a video vignette.

Steve Maclin is in a relationship with Deonna Purrazzo. That probably got his foot in the door, but his years of experience with WWE is also a big selling point. He will start with the company soon, and he might have even filmed matches during this last set of television tapings.

It was previously reported that Maclin was at the tapings, but it wasn’t noted if he wrestled. His non-compete clause with WWE is obviously up at this point. It is also unknown if Maclin signed a deal with Impact Wrestling at this time.

WWE did release Cutler after he tested positive for COVID-19. Vince McMahon was livid over the situation and Baron Corbin’s Knights of the Lone Wolf was scrapped.
