Former AEW star Big Swole became a huge topic of discussion recently after she recently called out AEW for their lack of diversity and pointed out differences in how WWE presents their Black stars, especially Big E and Bianca Belair. This led to a lot of back and forth between fans as well. It seems Tay Conti seemingly defended Tony Khan recently.
Fans and pro wrestlers alike all shared their thoughts regarding the matter. Things got worse after AEW President Tony Khan caused a lot of controversy with his response to Big Swole’s callout by taking it personally. Khan said that he let Swole’s contract expire because she wasn’t good enough.
Tony Khan’s insensitive comments drew the ire of many, especially from current AEW star Lio Rush, who demanded Tony Khan apologize for what he said. Amidst the controversy, Tay Conti took to Twitter and seemingly defended Tony Khan for giving her an opportunity in AEW.
