WWE Changing Up NXT Television Taping Schedule

By | August 15, 2021

WWE is going through a lot of changes with the NXT brand and that means a new vision for Vince McMahon’s company. They will reportedly get some rebranding complete with a new logo eventually. That also apparently includes changing up their taping schedule.

Bryan Alvarez tweeted out that NXT is switching up their NXT tapings again. They used to film multiple episodes in tapings blocks, sometimes stretching two days in a row. It appears that they are going back to this tactic as the Wrestling Observer Live host tweeted out to inform fans of this change.

It appears NXT is returning to taping shows in advance starting next Monday and Tuesday nights.

NXT taping schedule may be temporary, but for sure they’re taping several episodes after Takeover.

We’ll have to see how this changes the brand’s presentation on television. They have also made several cuts to the black and gold brand in the last few weeks as well and more could be coming. As previously reported, Triple H had nothing to do with those cuts and Johnny Ace started calling talent before he even know they were releasing anyone during this last round of releases.
