By | March 19, 2022

It’s official that Cody Rhodes is returning to WWE, where his career started. With WrestleMania 38 just two weeks away, WWE is planning major things involving Rhodes, and most of those are being done in a discreet manner.

According to Fightful Select, those close to Rhodes denied his Sunday travel was concerned with WrestleMania; however, WWE sources have indicated they internally discussed flying Rhodes in private.

The outlet added that flying Rhodes privately is being done to avoid his publicity when he arrives at the airport right before WrestleMania. That being said, fans might just see Rhodes make an in-ring return to WWE at the big event.

While those close to Rhodes denied that his Sunday travel was set to WrestleMania, WWE sources have indicated that they’d internally discussed flying Rhodes in private in order to avoid the publicity of him popping up at an airport before WrestleMania.

It has also been confirmed that Vince McMahon-run company is internally planning for Rhodes to be present at the WWE RAW after WrestleMania on Monday, April 4.

Several WWE stars backstage were extremely thrilled last month because of Rhodes’ return to the company, and the backstage excitement wasn’t reported until Rhodes contract with WWE was made public.
