WWE has seen some talent being let go as of late, with the likes of Carlito and, most recently, Sarah Logan not getting their contracts renewed. With that in mind, it appears that there might be another release coming this week.
While speaking on the Bryan and Vinny Show, Bryan Alvarez talked about Brooks Jensen being kicked out of the Culling by Izzi Dame last week on NXT television. Alvarez criticized the entire segment for not making any sense whatsoever.
Bryan Alvarez then made it clear he wasn’t hoping for this or supporting it, but he said that since tomorrow is Friday, he expects to wake up and see news that Brooks Jensen, referring to him as the virgin, has been released. He noted that many people in WWE are feeling nervous because Fridays have recently become known as days when talent cuts happen.
“I wanna make it abundantly clear, I’m not advocating for this nor do I want it to happen, but tomorrow is Friday. And I expect to wake up and see that the virgin [Brooks Jensen] has been cut. I can tell you that there’s a lot of people in WWE right now very nervous about Friday, since Friday is cutting day and they’ve been cutting talent as of late.”
This comes after it was previously reported that additional WWE releases could be on the way following the latest slew of cuts, which is exactly why talent are currently on edge about Friday.
With Friday coming up and things feeling unsure, the WWE roster is understandably nervous. No one knows for sure what’s going on with Brooks Jensen, so we’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for him as no one wants him to get released.
