Roderick Strong is the current NXT Cruiserweight Champion and his match for New Year’s Evil will be a historic one. Strong will battle North American Champion Carmelo Hays in a title unification match.
We are uncertain what this new merged title will be called, or what they will even do. NXT 2.0 has included many changes across the brand Triple H created so far. This change seems like yet another big shift into a new era.
