WWE Used Interesting Marketing Technique In Las Vegas During AEW Double Or Nothing

By | May 30, 2022

AEW Double or Nothing took over Las Vegas last night and it was quite a long show. The T-Mobile arena was packed, except for under 1,000 limited view seats, and WWE was well aware of that.

WWE likes to market to people in their demographic. They were obviously ready for Double or Nothing, because it appears they hired out a rolling billboard to plug Money in the Bank in front of the T-Mobile Arena.

Vince McMahon’s company just had to downsize from Allegiant Stadium to the MGM Grand Arena. They reportedly sold 17,000 tickets and are now going to a 12,000 seat venue. Obviously, there is a lot to unpack in that situation.

It’s unclear how effective this marketing technique was, but it sure raised some eyebrows for AEW fans who saw that rolling advertisement with Cody Rhodes on it next to the Money in the Bank logo. You can check out the image below.
