WWE Won’t Fire Sasha Banks & Naomi Out Of Fear They’ll Sign With AEW

By | May 19, 2022

Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on RAW immediately after the show went on air this week. Their walkout was compared to the likes of ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and clearly, the company did not take too kindly to it. There is also a very good reason the company has not fired either of them.

As Ringside News exclusively reported, there is also a strong belief backstage that Sasha Banks actually manipulated Naomi into leaving with her. Not only that, but Sasha Banks and Naomi have already been pulled from future WWE live events as a result of their actions.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Sasha Banks and Naomi’s situation in WWE. He explained that the company won’t fire them due to the fear that they will just go to AEW.

“If it was another time and another place, it’s very possible that they would have been fired, but it’s this time and this place. I remember when the Charlotte Flair thing happened with Becky Lynch and I was talking to people there and it was kind of, like, if it was another time and another place, yeah, they would have fired Charlotte Flair for what she did on live TV screwing up the angle on purpose.

But it’s, like, do you want to send her to AEW? No. And essentially nothing happened and they don’t want to send either of them to AEW. Then you’ve got the whole Naomi married to Jimmy Uso…It’s just a waiting game to see what happens next.”

Sasha Banks’ walkout even nixed an angle with Ronda Rousey. Their walkout was also called a publicity stunt, among other things. We will keep you updated on this ongoing story!
