During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer brought up Mace and T-Bar’s time on Raw. They didn’t lose their match, but instead were shown leaving with their hands held high via DQ victory at the end of their time on RAW this week. That means their storyline will continue in this new top program.
“They’re actually going to try something with Mace and T-Bar. They put them in there with McIntyre and Strowman and they got DQ’ed, actually McIntyre got DQ’ed, but they had a DQ finish other than a pin. So, that tells you that they’re gonna keep that thing going and they’re positioning them, you know I guess McIntyre and Strowman are the two top babyface in the brand, so they’re positioning them high [on the card].”
Mace and T-Bar were both unmasked this week. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to do away with the Retribution masks and introduce the actual humans behind Mace and T-Bar.
WWE seems to have plans for Mace and T-Bar and they didn’t get squashed this week. Odds are they will continue their new mission next week as they target Drew McIntyre and now Braun Strowman.
