The Toronto Raptors are on the brink of elimination, returning to Philadelphia for Game 5 against the 76ers.
After avoiding a sweep on Saturday, the Raptors will have to battle without their All-Star point guard Fred VanVleet, who left Game 4 with a strained hip flexor and will not suit up tonight.
The 76ers are also dealing with an injury to a key player, as MVP candidate Joel Embiid is playing through a torn ligament in his right thumb. Embiid intends to continue to compete through the ailment the entire postseason, with the intention of receiving surgery in the offseason.
Will the shorthanded Raptors be able to keep this series alive? Or will the 76ers be the first team in the NBA to advance to the second round?
We’ll have you covered with live updates, highlights and more from all the action.

6:05 p.m.: The Raptors will be without All-Star guard Fred VanVleet, who left Game 4 with a strained hip flexor.
Fred VanVleet is out vs. Sixers for Game 5 due to hip flexor strain. Told me there is no visible bruising or swelling, but sounded doubtful he would be ready for Game 6 Thurs. (if necessary). He said if Raptors come back he’s optimistic he could be ready for the second round.
