Tony Khan Would Shake Eric Bischoff’s Hand If He Saw Him Right Now

By | June 7, 2022

Eric Bischoff is getting a lot of heat from AEW fans over his criticism of the product. Bischoff has taken the liberty of calling out both top star CM Punk and President Tony Khan on numerous occasions. Now, the owner is responding back.

Khan recently sat down with The Corner Podcast to discuss AEW, CM Punk’s injury, as well as Bischoff’s criticism of his promotion among other things. Here’s what the AEW head honcho said about Bischoff.

“I haven’t spoken a bad word to him because we haven’t talked in a while, but I liked Eric when we talked and I’ve said this before, if I saw him right now, I think we’d probably shake hands and talk.

“He just started saying some pretty negative stuff around the time CM Punk came in and I didn’t think it was really fair and he’s talked about investments and financial stuff, but he doesn’t really understand our financials.”

Bischoff has made several appearances for AEW in the past, most famously serving as an on-screen moderator for Chris Jericho and MJF, for whom he has high praise, by the way.
