Peacemaker is officially headed to Mortal Kombat 1, with developer NetherRealm Studios confirming the release date for the highly anticipated DLC character.
In a recent tweet, the studio revealed that early access for Peacemaker will be available beginning on February 28, 2024, right around the same time that Mortal Kombat 1’s newest season of content arrives.
“Early access” in this sense means that players will be able to play as the character but won’t be able to legally use them in online tournaments for the time being.
Bigger reveal for Peacemaker set for this month
According to the tweet, a full reveal with more information on the character is planned for sometime later this month. Peacemaker was originally revealed as one of six characters included in Mortal Kombat 1’s first Kombat Pack, which also includes playable characters in the form of Invincible’s Omni-Man, Quan Chi, Ermac, Homelander, and Takahashi Takeda.
So far, both Omni-Man and Quan Chi have made their way fully into the game.
Those looking to get their hands on Peacemaker can still buy the MK1 Kombat Pack for $39.99 on major gaming stores. The character is purchasable separately as well, and retails for $7.99 on digital gaming fronts.
